Auto repair: Bring every vehicle back on schedule

The Auto repair blueprint configures a client account to answer every service request, track each vehicle's repair history and maintenance schedule, and follow up on work the customer declined. It is built for auto repair shops that want to bring every vehicle back on schedule.

Watch how the Auto repair blueprint handles service requests, vehicle tracking, and deferred work follow-up.

Who it's for

Auto repair shops that track customer vehicles, follow up on declined repairs, and want to keep service schedules full.

What it solves

When a driver reports grinding brakes, the call gets answered immediately and the system asks how they feel. It takes the year, make, and model, and the days that work, then passes the request to the shop for confirmation. Every vehicle gets a record with its repair orders, and customers who declined work get a follow-up to check if they are ready.

What's included

The Auto repair blueprint includes:

  • AI receptionist: answers calls and web chats day and night. Gathers the vehicle year, make, and model, the issue, and preferred days for the shop to confirm. The driver is added to the CRM as a contact.
  • Pipelines: Service Visit Pipeline, Collision Repair Pipeline, and Fleet Account Acquisition.
  • CRM custom objects: Vehicles (each car with year, make, model, and VIN), Repair Orders, and Fleet Accounts.
  • Automations: Post-service review request (once a repair order is paid), Deferred work follow-up (checks in on declined repairs), and Missed call text-back.
  • Campaigns and email templates: oil change and tire rotation reminders, win-backs for customers who have gone quiet, and deferred work follow-ups.
  • Smart Lists: oil changes due, deferred work, lapsed customers, and vehicles with aging repair orders.

Required products

Your client account needs these products turned on before the blueprint can be applied:

  • Campaigns Pro
  • Reputation AI
  • CRM AI
  • Conversations AI – Embedded, or another Inbox product with AI

Add and apply the blueprint

To use this Blueprint Template, find Auto repair: Bring every vehicle back on schedule in the Blueprint Templates tab at Partner Center → Accounts → Blueprints, then add it to your blueprints and apply it to a client account. Make sure the required products are turned on first.

For step-by-step instructions, see Create a blueprint and Apply a blueprint.

aviso

Automations from Blueprint Templates keep the state they had in the source account. For Vendasta templates, that means automations arrive as Draft (off), so nothing goes out to your client's customers until you review and turn them on. Review the automations included with this blueprint, test them if needed, and switch on the ones you want from the account's automations list. Add the business's details to the AI Receptionist before switching on automations.
