Templated Website
Overview
The Templated Website is a WordPress build where you choose a professionally designed template and our team customizes it with your colors, fonts, images, and content. It includes an onboarding call, a homepage mock for review, and one round of major revisions before go-live. The structure is fixed, but the visual touches make it your own.
What's Included
- Template-based WordPress site: Choose a template; the structure is fixed, with customizable colors, fonts, and images.
- 3 to 10 pages: A 3-page site by default, with up to 10 pages available.
- Up to 1,500 words of copy: Generic copy is included; custom copy is available as a service add-on.
- Blog uploads: Up to 4 blogs uploaded as part of the initial build (an additional 4 per month with active Website Support).
- Website forms: Up to 3 forms, with up to 20 fields each.
- Secure hosting: Hosted on our secure, state-of-the-art WordPress infrastructure.
- One round of major revisions: Such as changing sections or removing pages.
Prerequisites
Three components are necessary to build your website, plus your content. Think of your website as a house: hosting is the land, the domain is the address, and the template is the blueprint.
- Hosting: Your site is hosted on our secure, state-of-the-art infrastructure to keep it protected and fast.
- Domain: If you already have a domain, you'll be given instructions to delegate access. If not, our team can recommend where to purchase one.
- Template: Choose a template based on the aesthetic that best suits your business. Explore all of our templates here.
- Onboarding details: Have these ready for your call—chosen template and color scheme, logo and font(s), preferred images (optional), business information, and an email address for contact forms.
Getting Started
1. Onboarding
After you submit the fulfillment form with your business details, you'll schedule an onboarding call with a website developer. This call is strongly recommended to ensure a clear understanding of the project—we'll discuss your business, what you offer, and how to best convey that to your customers, and review your chosen template to understand what you like and what can be adapted.
2. Publication timelines
Timelines may vary, and the delivery date for the first version is provided after the onboarding call. Missing information on the fulfillment form will cause delays.
- Initial review: The process begins within 2 business days of the order being received.
- Homepage mock: You receive the homepage for review within 5 business days of completing your onboarding call. If you're not happy with it, you have the right to one do-over with a different template.
- Full website delivery: After you provide feedback on the homepage, the rest of the 3-page website is delivered within 5 business days. Sites with up to 10 pages are delivered within 10 business days.
Additional add-ons like extra pages, eCommerce functionality, and plugins will require more time. An updated timeline will be provided after the onboarding process is complete.
3. Revisions and go-live
Once you receive the first version, review every detail to ensure it's accurate. The service includes one round of major revisions (like changing sections or removing pages).
- Revision timeline: Once revisions are submitted, the adjustments are made within 5 to 10 business days.
- Go-live: After you approve the major changes, the site is set live within 1 business day (exceptions may apply).
- Minor changes: Small tweaks can be made after the main revisions are complete or after the site is live to ensure you are fully satisfied.
4. Ongoing support
A 3-month commitment for website support is required once the website is set live. See Website Support for what's included and how to make a request. Support includes:
- Making updates to existing sections (images, text, colors, contact form fields).
- Updating the website's plugins and themes.
- Performing website health checks upon request.
- Fixing bugs and providing urgent support if your website goes offline.

Can you upload blogs to my website?
Yes, our team will upload up to 4 blogs as part of the initial website build. With an active Website Support service, an additional 4 blogs can be uploaded per month.

Can my website feature multiple languages?
Yes, we use the GTranslate plugin for this service. The free version uses a standard translation service. To edit translations, you must purchase the premium version of the plugin.

For payments, we use a free plugin called Gravity Forms. For donations, we recommend the GiveWP plugin, which is free but will incur additional charges to install due to its complexity.
What if I need more customizations?
The Templated Website solution is best for simpler websites without extensive customization. If you require a more customized solution, please reach out to our team and we will be happy to find the best solution for you.
Do I have to host the website with you?
The website must be built in our WordPress Hosting environment. After that, you are free to move it to any host. However, please note that sites outside our hosting environment will no longer be supported by our team.
