Social Media Management Onboarding
The onboarding process is designed to give the service team a clear understanding of your brand, goals, and expectations so the content aligns with your vision.
Step 1: Forms and preparation
The process begins once you complete the Fulfillment Form. Providing as much detail as possible helps the team get started quickly. It is also recommended to complete the Social Posting Questionnaire before your onboarding call. You can upload brand assets and other documents directly in the Fulfillment Form or send them via email.
Step 2: Optional onboarding call
After you submit the form, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to book your optional onboarding call. During the call, a specialist will discuss your form details, complete the questionnaire with you, and review your business's existing web presence.
To prepare for this call, have the following ready:
- Social Posting Questionnaire: Completed in advance if possible.
- Brand assets:
- Logo, brand colors, and fonts
- Access to any drives where the team can source original photos
- Social media login credentials: For any existing social media accounts.
- Facebook Business Manager access: Direct access is needed to allow the team to handle post boosting.
- Content and strategy ideas:
- Types of content you want to share
- Examples of social media content from other businesses you'd like to emulate
- A list of blog topics you'd like covered
Step 3: Social media profile setup
The service can create profiles on the following platforms:
- X (formerly Twitter)
- Google Business Profile
A social media specialist will help choose and set up the best profiles for your business based on your industry and strategy.
What we need from you
To create these profiles, we will need:
- Your exact business name and full address
- Access to an email account
- Login credentials for any social media profiles that already exist
Platform-specific requirements
Some platforms require personal login credentials to create and manage a business profile. This is a requirement of the platforms themselves and allows our team to build your business presence.
- Facebook: Personal login credentials are required to create a Facebook Business Page.
- LinkedIn: The associated personal LinkedIn profile must be at least one day old, have at least one connection, and may require verification before a business page can be created (LinkedIn Help).
