Associate company with contact

Associate company with contact links a company record and a contact record in the CRM. Use it when both records exist but aren't yet connected, for example after creating a contact from a form submission and finding the matching company in a separate step.

How it works​

  1. The automation reaches the Associate company with contact step with both a company and contact in scope
  2. The step creates a link between the two records in the CRM
  3. The company and contact are now associated, so downstream steps can access both
  4. The automation continues to the next step

Set up the action​

  1. Open the automation builder and add a new step
  2. Under Advanced, select Associate company with contact

This action uses the company and contact currently in scope. No additional configuration is needed.

Outputs​

This action produces no outputs available to downstream steps.
