The category column shows the type of directory source. There are 6 available categories:
- Directory: an online listing directory.
- Map: sites that have an online map like MapQuest or Google Maps.
- Social: social media networks like Facebook or Instagram.
- Aggregator: publishers that push their listing information to other listing sources.
- App: standalone applications like Snapchat that are not GPS services.
- GPS: sources that power GPS applications like those found in cars.
