A number of the digital marketing laws and digital goods laws have changed as of the beginning of 2022 and there are a good number of items that either need to be taxed or that don't need to be taxed. So the question is, 'are we able to selectively tax individual line items?'
The answer is Yes
On the invoice builder, in order to apply a tax rate to a line item on an invoice, click the Options ⋮ menu on the line item, select Set Item Tax, and choose a tax rate to apply.
