What are built-in automations?
Built-in automations are automations created by Vendasta for all Channel Partners. Some built-in automations are new features that you can customize to tailor to your needs, such as increasing hotness when specific actions occur in the platform. Other built-in automations are more general automation that we strongly recommend for every Channel Partner to run, such as sending reminders to your clients when they abandon their shopping carts.
These built-in automations are On by default for all markets (if applicable). However, you have the option to turn off the automation or copy them into your automation to make any modifications.

Built-in automations were released on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.
Which built-in automations are available?
The shopping cart reminder is the first built-in automation that was released. This automation will remind your customers of items left in their shopping cart if they don't check out within an hour.

We also recently released 5 built-in automations to notify you about hot leads. To see these workflows in more detail, you can find the automation tagged with Hot-leads in the Built-in automations tab within Automations.
How does it work?
To access built-in automations, go to Partner Center > Automations, then click on the Built-in automations tab. There, you can see all existing built-in automations, including their description, status, and last updated date. At the end of the row, the Menu provides easy access to turning off automation or copying the automation.
Turn off a built-in automation
The status for built-in automations works the same as other automations. You can turn off a built-in automation using the On/Off toggle at the top of the Workflow page or from the main Automations page.

Edit / copy a built-in automation
Unlike regular automations, built-in automations can't be edited directly. However, you can still customize the workflow by making a copy of the built-in automation.
To copy built-in automation, click Actions on the main Workflow page. Then, click Copy.
A copy of the built-in automation will be created in the My automations tab. You can customize this automation any way you like. The status of the built-in automation will remain the same, whereas the status of the copied automation will be Off by default.
When you're ready to turn on the copied automation, you can do so by clicking the On/Off toggle at the top of the page.
