In Partner Center, you can edit accounts individually or in bulk.
Edit Individual accounts
To edit an individual account:
- Go to Partner Center > Accounts > Manage Accounts.
- Search for the account you want to edit. Click on the account name. This will take you to the Account Details page.
- Click on the Edit button in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Modify any information you want to change.
- Click Save at the bottom of the screen.
Bulk update accounts
To complete bulk update:
- Create a CSV file with account changes you want to make:
- If you imported multiple accounts with a CSV file, you can edit that file. If you do not have a CSV file, you can either export a List or fill in the CSV file template.
- If you fill in the CSV template, make sure to delete the second row with sample data and fill out the AccountIdentifier column. This column is automatically filled out if you export a List.
You can find the AccountIdentifier by clicking on the account in Partner Center > Accounts > Manage Accounts. The AccountIdentifier will show in the URL in the form of 'AG-xxxxxxxxxx.'
- Example: AG-XB8PPGQ8XR is the AccountIdentifier in the following URL: https://partners.vendasta.com/businesses/accounts/AG-XB8PPGQ8XR/edit?marketId=306media
- Go to Partner Center > Accounts > Manage Accounts.
- Click on the Menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Click Update Accounts (CSV Upload).
- Upload the new account data:
- Click Upload File.
- Select the updated CSV file from Step 1.
- Click Next.
- Select all of the fields you want to update, then click Next.
Each field you select will pull updated information from the CSV file and overwrite the previous data.
- The CustomerIdentifier cannot be changed after the initial creation of the account.
- The bottom of the form allows you to select whether empty cells will overwrite existing data or not. Overwriting is useful if you need to remove information.
- Review the information that will be updated, then click Update.
