Create a company

Create a company creates a new company record in your CRM. Use it to automatically create companies from webhook data, form submissions, or other external sources.

How it works​

  1. The automation reaches the Create a company step
  2. The step creates a new company record using the fields you configured
  3. The new company is brought into scope for downstream steps
  4. Company-scoped actions become available in subsequent steps

This action does not check for duplicate companies. If you want to avoid duplicates, use a Find company step first with an If/else branch to check whether a matching company already exists.

Set up the action​

  1. Open the automation builder and add a new step
  2. Under Businesses, select Create a company
  3. Configure the fields:

astuce

Use Add dynamic content to populate fields from previous steps, for example pull a company name from a webhook payload or form submission.

Outputs​

After the step runs, the new company record is available in scope. Downstream steps can act on it directly via Add dynamic content.
