Website Services

Vendasta Services builds websites for your clients as Express, Templated, or Accelerated Templated (Duda) builds, and provides hosting, Website Support+, site imports and exports, and plugin integration. To order a build, complete the Website Creation & Content Form and activate the product. This section covers what to expect from each build type, how to order, support inclusions and requests, importing and exporting sites, and working with plugins on WordPress builds.

How do Vendasta Services website builds work?​

Website Services include build types, ordering, support, and migration:

  • Build types – Express (AI-generated, up to 5 pages, same-day first draft, WordPress; 3 months support required). Templated (choose a template, onboarding call, 3–10 pages, one round of major revisions; 3 months support required). Accelerated Templated (Duda-based, 10 pages, mix-and-match templates, AI copy, one major round of edits, annual redesign; Plus adds eCommerce, booking, custom forms, 60+ design enhancements).
  • Ordering – Complete the Website Creation & Content Form (business info, contact, domain, navigation, design, copy, e-commerce if needed), then activate the product in the platform. Both steps are required to avoid delays.
  • Support – Website Support+ (WordPress on WordPress Hosting Pro) includes minor appearance changes, plugin/theme updates, health checks, uptime monitoring, urgent support, up to 3 blog posts per month, and basic AI Chat Receptionist installation. A 3-month commitment is required after go-live for new builds or imports.
  • Import/Export – Vendasta Services can move an existing WordPress site onto WordPress Hosting Pro (import) or help you export a site to another host.
  • Plugins – Standard plugins (e.g. Yoast, Gravity Forms, Divi Booster) are included with certain builds; premium plugins require your license and may incur integration fees.

What’s the difference between Express, Templated, and Accelerated Templated?

Express – Fast, AI-generated WordPress site (up to 5 pages), same-day first draft, one round of revisions, ~15 days to launch. Templated – You choose a template; onboarding call; 3–10 pages; one round of major revisions; timelines after onboarding. Accelerated Templated – Duda-based, 10 pages, mix-and-match templates, AI copy, one major round of edits, annual redesign; Plus adds eCommerce, booking, custom forms, 60+ design features. What do I need to do to order a website?

Complete the Website Creation & Content Form first (business info, contact, domain, navigation, design, copy, etc.), then activate the product in the platform. Both steps must be done or work will be delayed. See Ordering.

What’s included in Website Support+?

Technical support, minor appearance changes (fonts, colors, media, text, contact form), quarterly backend updates, plugin/theme updates on request, health checks, uptime monitoring and urgent support, up to 3 blog posts per month (content provided), and basic AI Chat Receptionist installation. Can I move an existing WordPress site to Vendasta hosting?

Yes. Vendasta Services can import your existing WordPress site onto WordPress Hosting Pro. You get access to Website Support+ when importing with Support+ activated (3-month commitment). See Import and Export.

How do plugins work with Vendasta Services builds?

Templated and similar builds include integration of standard plugins (e.g. Yoast, Gravity Forms, Divi Booster). Premium plugins require you to purchase the license and provide it to the team; integration may be billed hourly. See Plugins.

Does Vendasta Services offer eCommerce website builds?

Yes. Accelerated Templated Plus adds eCommerce, booking, and custom forms to the Duda-based build. The Website Creation & Content Form includes an e-commerce section to fill out if the site needs it. See Accelerated templated.

Does a Vendasta Services website build include copy?

Accelerated Templated builds include AI copy. For every build, the Website Creation & Content Form includes a copy section. See Ordering.

Is website support required with a new build?

Express and Templated builds require 3 months of support, and Website Support+ requires a 3-month commitment after go-live for new builds or imports. See Support.

Where do I find Activity Logs when a WordPress staging reset does not appear in Production logs?

For staging actions, open Advanced Tools → Staging → Activity Logs. Staging activity does not appear under Advanced Tools → Production → Activity Logs.

Production still shows an older version after I push staging to production. What should I try first?

Clear the cache at the server level, then recheck the live site. A stale cache can make production look like a different version immediately after a staging push.

How do I order an additional website page for a client?

Go to Accounts → Manage Accounts, open the client, then Create order → Add items, search "Additional page", select it, and Process order → Confirm. This notifies the marketing services team. You can also email the team with details about what the page should include.

Can a cancelled WordPress-hosted website be restored?

After you cancel WordPress Hosting, the site stays in the background for about 30 days. After that it is most likely gone, and restoring it means a new build. To keep a site while cancelling hosting, ask the marketing services team to move the hosting first. They will give you the site files and instructions for moving it to another host.
