The Google Analytics view in Advertising Intelligence allows Partners and their clients to view their Top Traffic Sources and Goal Completion metrics within the product.
What’s the Benefit?
Google Analytics goal completions and referral sources tell a story about your website beyond simple data. Goal completions show you how well you are performing on your target objectives, so you can effectively analyze your campaign performance. See whether the landing page attached to your ads is generating your ideal number of visits, form fills, or purchases, and evaluate accordingly.
Traffic source reports tell you which online sources contribute the most to your website visits and overall return. By seeing the results of organic search, direct sources, referral sources, and more, you can easily determine where your efforts are paying off or where you may want to scale back.
How does it work?
From the Overview page of Advertising Intelligence, click on an individual advertising campaign. Scroll down and click on the Google Analytics tab. Here, you will be able to connect to the Google Analytics view.
Once it’s connected, you will be able to see the name of each goal you have set, and how many completions there are for each goal. New data is pulled in once per day.
Scroll down further to see the second table with Google Analytics traffic sources, listed in order of how many times traffic has come to your website or landing page via those sources. At the bottom of the page, you have the option to disconnect Google Analytics.
