Google can't verify my domain

When you first log into Google Workspace, you may see a request to verify your domain ownership, which means that your domain is temporarily blocked.

If this were the case, you would see a message in the Google Workspace panel requesting domain verification retry.

Here are steps to fix this issue;

Step 1:

Before trying our troubleshooting steps below, confirm you logged in, accepted Google’s terms of service, and tried to verify your domain:

Step 2: Unblock your domain

If Google still shows your domain isn’t verified, follow these steps to unblock your domain:

Step 3 - Retry domain verification

To try domain verification again:

  • In the Home menu, click Settings, then click Google Workspace.
  • Under Google couldn’t verify domain, click Try Again.
  • Refresh your browser. If the Try Again button disappears after the refresh, then you successfully verified your domain. If the button reappears, your domain isn’t verified yet. Go to If retrying fails in this guide for the next steps.

After the Google couldn’t verify your domain message disappears from the Google Workspace panel, you should be able to access your Google Workspace account.
