Starting December 6, 2021, partners can now set up their client's Business App to show accurate Executive Report data, while removing access to other products. The executive report is one of the best ways our partners show marketing results to their clients and this new update would enable them to customize the report to suit their business needs.
What has changed?
Previously, when a channel partner turns off certain product access from within Business App (e.g. Reputation management product) the user would also lose permission to view the data that comes from that app (e.g. latest reviews cards in Executive Report).
With this change, the Executive Report data is not lost and is still available by default, even when end-user product access has been removed.
For partners who want to show product data in the Executive Report to users even when product access has been removed for those users in permission settings can go through the below process.
- Log in to Partner Center
- Click on Administration
- Click on Customize
- Click on Business App Settings
- Select "show product data in executive report...."
