Starting October 25th, 2021, the criteria for which accounts are automatically sent an Executive Report notification email has expanded, to ensure accounts that should be receiving a notification, are receiving it. What is Executive Report?
The Executive Report is an automated reporting software that gives your single or multi-location clients direct access to proof-of-performance reporting and smart recommendations.
Reporting motivates a business to take action. It reveals important details that can be used at the right time to improve sales and operations. SMB's are using this report to know where they are winning, where they are lagging, and where they need help, which enables you to offer solutions.
It is your strategic tool to engage with your clients frequently, to prove your value to them, and retain their accounts in your book for a longer time.
Starting October 25th, 2021, all users on accounts with an active connection that have the Executive Report notification enabled, will now be sent an email notification when their weekly or monthly report is ready, even if they have no Marketplace products active.
Why send the Executive Report?
SMB clients who receive a weekly or monthly Executive Report email have a 38% higher chance of being retained compared to those who don't, making automated reporting a necessity for serving your local business clients. Additionally, SMBs who received an Executive Report with their Google My Business insights for at least half of their lifetime saw a 47% increase in retention after one year compared to those who received a report without Google My Business insights. (Source: Vendasta SMB Retention Survey, 2019) With this retention rate, it’s important to make sure your clients who have made a connection through Google My Business, Facebook, Google Search Console, or Google Analytics receive a notification for their performance in these respective areas. By receiving proof-of-performance reporting on a consistent basis, you are providing your clients with evidence of the value you bring to their business and engaging them in your Business App offering.
