You can save a copy of the emails you send and receive via any external email program directly in the Sales & Success Center.
Using the Gmail extension
The easiest way to log emails is via the Sales & Success Center Gmail extension for Google Chrome. Should you use a different email client or browser, there are two other ways to log emails (see below).
Logging sent emails
There are two ways you can log your sent emails:
- Select the contact’s email address within the Sales & Success Center—this will launch an email program and automatically pre-fill sent@mail.snapshotreport.biz in the BCC field.
- From an email program, type sent@mail.snapshotreport.biz in the BCC field.
Logging received emails
You can also log your received emails by forwarding your prospects’ emails to received@mail.snapshotreport.biz.
Sales activities
Upon sending the email, sales activity will be added to all relevant accounts. These are determined by the following:
- The sender’s email address matches your email address in the Sales & Success Center.
- The recipient’s email address exactly matches that of a user or contact.
The logged sales activity will include the unformatted content of the sent email. You may edit that sales activity as needed. All sales activities for received emails will automatically be marked as Connected.
