What is it?
Two of the data aggregators in Listing Distribution, Factual and Foursquare, have merged (announced April 2020). To reflect this merger, we will be distributing the Listing Score points previously allotted for Factual to the other data aggregators and Facebook. The distribution of points is as follows:
- Facebook will be worth an additional 10 points (85 points total)
- Foursquare will be worth an additional 20 points (75 points total)
- InfoGroup will be worth an additional 15 (65 points total)
- Localeze will be worth an additional 15 points (65 points total)
As a result, your clients may see a change in their Listing Scores in Reputation Management Pro and in the Listings section of the Executive Report.
Who will this affect?
This may affect Listing Scores for accounts with Reputation Management Pro and Listing Distribution.
Why is it important?
This adjustment is being made to reflect changes in the listings data ecosystem. As sources change or the relevancy or importance of those sources changes, we update our calculations to reflect those changes. By allocating points from Factual to the other sources, we are minimizing disruption to your clients and maintaining accurate proof of performance reporting.
When is the adjustment taking place?
The redistribution of points went into effect on May 13th, 2021. If an account is affected, they will see adjustments to their Listing Score in Reputation Management Pro on or shortly after this date, and in their next scheduled Executive Report.
