Send product education campaigns
Automatically send email campaigns to educate clients about new products or to prompt product upgrades.
Start the automation when A product is activated.
Then, add the following action:
- Send a campaign to the account: Select a campaign focused on the product that was activated.
Keep track of your clients
Identify which accounts are paying clients.
Start the automation when A customer makes a payment and it Succeeds.
Then, add the following action:
- Add tags: Add a Client tag.
Notify your team about failed payments
Notify a team member when a client's payment fails.
Start the automation when A customer makes a payment and it Fails.
Then, add the following action:
- Send an in-app notification: Select the team members that should be notified.
If desired, you can also add the Send an email notification action.
Notify your team about opportunity changes
Keep your team informed about opportunity changes.
Start the automation when An opportunity status is changed. Select A new pipeline stage or Closed, then select the pipeline to watch.
Then, add the following action:
- Send an in-app notification: Select the team members that should be notified.
If desired, you can also add the Send an email notification action.
Welcome new accounts
Welcome new clients and set up their accounts.
Set up: Before you create this automation, you'll need to publish the Local Business Online Toolkit Adoption Campaign Recommended Campaign.
Start the automation when An account is created.
Then, add the following actions:
- Delay: Wait for 1 hour. This allows you to add a user to the account before the campaigns are sent.
- Assign a salesperson: Select a salesperson.
- Send an in-app notification: Select the assigned salesperson.
- Create a sales task: Create a task for the assigned salesperson to welcome or call the new account.
- Send a campaign to the account: Select a welcome campaign.
- Activate a product x6: Add this action for each of the Local Business Online Toolkit products.
- Send a campaign to the account: Select the Local Business Online Toolkit Adoption Campaign campaign.
- Delay: Wait for 29 days.
- Create a sales task: Create a task for the assigned salesperson to follow up with the account.
Provide a tailored experience
Segment accounts based on their business categories, then send campaigns targeted to those categories.
Start the automation when An account is created. Add a trigger condition for the business category.
Then, add the following actions:
- Delay: Wait for 1 hour. This allows you to add a user to the account before the campaigns are sent.
- Add tags: Add a tag to the account for the category you selected for the trigger condition.
- Add the account to a list: Select a list for the category you selected.
- Assign a salesperson: Select a salesperson with knowledge of that category.
- Send a campaign to the account: Select a campaign focused on that category.
Set up a trial period for the Local Business Online Toolkit
Activate Toolkit products for prospects, wait 21 days, then deactivate the products for non-active accounts.
Set up: Before you create this automation, you'll need to create a list called Prospects. You'll also need to publish these Recommended Campaigns.
Start the automation when An account is added to a list. Select the Prospects list.
Then, add the following actions:
- Activate a product x6: Add this action for each of the Toolkit products.
- Send a campaign to the account: Select the Local Business Online Toolkit Adoption Campaign campaign.
- Log activity and hotness rating: Describe the activity, and select a hotness rating of 1 flame.
- Delay until an event happens: Select A campaign email is opened or clicked, then select Clicked. Set a time limit of 21 days.
The accounts in the automation will be split into two workflows. One workflow will run if a link in the campaign is clicked (the event happened), and one workflow will run if a link in the campaign was not clicked (the event did not happen).
Under Event Happened, add the following actions:
- Log activity and hotness rating: Describe the activity, and select a hotness rating of 3 flames.
- Assign a salesperson: Select a salesperson.
- Create a sales task: Create a task for the assigned salesperson to follow up with the account.
Under Event Did Not Happen, add the following actions:
- Send a campaign to the account: Select the Local Business Online Toolkit Trial Expiration campaign.
- Delay until an event happens: Select A campaign email is opened or clicked, then select Opened. Set a time limit of 2 days.
The accounts will again be split into 2 workflows.
Under Event Happened, add the following actions:
- Assign a salesperson: Select a salesperson.
- Create a sales task: Create a task for the assigned salesperson to follow up with the account.
Under Event Did Not Happen, add the following actions:
- Deactivate a product x4: Add this action for each of the Express products (Social Marketing | Express, Reputation Management | Express, Customer Voice | Express, and Website | Express).
