When creating an account for a business, you now have the option to use a simple search or advanced search, making it easier for you to find the business you're looking for. With a simple search, you can easily find a specific business. If you want to explore new businesses in a category or location, you can use the advanced search. Previously, there was just one type of search.
How does it work?
You can access this search from Partner Center > Businesses > Accounts > Create Account, or from Sales & Success Center > Accounts > Manage > Create Prospect. From there, you can select the Simple search or Advanced search tab.
In the Simple search tab, enter the name and location of a specific business. For example, to create an account for Starbucks on Broadway, you could search for: Starbucks, Broadway, New York, NY, USA.
In the Advanced search tab, enter search terms related to a type of business you want to discover. For example, to find new cafes in New York, you could search for: cafes near New York, NY, USA.
