If a particular person is responsible for an account, you can set them as the account assignee:
- Go to Task Manager > My Work
- Switch to the My Accounts view
- Find the account
- If you don't see the account, you may need to remove yourself from the account filters
- Click on the name in the Assignee column
- Select the new assignee
What does the account assignee field do?
The account assignee field is responsible for a few things:
- When a client asks a question through Business App, the account assignee is notified
- A visual indicator to other agents of who the primary point of contact is
