Task Manager has a ton of features to help you and your teams fulfill with clients. In particular, auto-generated tasks have helped fulfillment teams work more efficiently.
Vendasta is making it easier to see that value by introducing a reimagined version of the app. Everything you've been able to do so far has been carried over and improved. There's a number of key areas that have been changed that we'll walk you through.
When does it release?
The Task Manager redesign can be accessed today through the current Task Manager interface.
We expect to have the new Task Manager be the default on December 7th, 2020. This will include the ability to return to the current version should you need it.
The new My work tab is the lifeblood of Task Manager. It features a few key areas to help you and your teams do their best work.
- Views allow digital agents to sort their work in the way that suits their workflow. Task Manager comes equipped with the following views, with more to come later:
- My tasks
- My projects
- My accounts
- Unassigned tasks
Explore the various views to find the one that works best for you.
Vendasta has added many usability improvements to the redesign. Instead of focusing on new features, we wanted to make the features that already exist easier to get to. Here's a few of the highlights:
- Create tasks, projects, and accounts from anywhere in the app
- Stop fumbling through menus and sub-menus with the redesigned Account screen
- Profile images to add personality and help identify assignees
An updated look
Task Manager now matches the style of the other apps. It largely speaks for itself, but we think you'll find it a more pleasant experience overall.
That's just a few of the many improvements rolling out. We encourage you to explore the revamped app when it launches this November.
