Vendasta is pleased to announce that Zoom is now available to all salespeople in Sales & Success Center!
For most of you, Zoom doesn't need an introduction. It's the world's leading video conferencing software for good reason. It's easy to use and access, creating the ideal environment for any remote meetings. Whether your salespeople are pitching demoing software or trying to meet face-to-face when that isn't possible, Zoom is there to make sure the process is painless.
When did it release?
Zoom was added to Sales & Success Center on June 8th, 2020.
How do my salespeople access it?
Everything your salespeople need to use Zoom is available directly from Sales & Success Center.
Connect a Zoom account
To begin using Zoom, salespeople will first need to connect their Zoom account. Don't have a Zoom account? Your salespeople can sign-up during the connection process or sign up beforehand.
- Log in to Sales & Success Center
- Click the settings button (
)
- Click Integrations
- Click Connect service in the Zoom section
- Sign in using their preferred method
- If they don't have an account, they can sign up using the Sign Up Free option
- Click Authorize
- Before authorizing, Zoom may ask you to pre-approve the app. You can do so by clicking Pre-approve.
Once connected, the salesperson will be brought back to Sales & Success Center.
Start a video call
- Log in to Sales & Success Center
- Find the account the salesperson wishes to reach out to
- Click the Zoom button (
)
- Select the contacts they wish to contact
- If they do not have a contact, one can be created by clicking Create contact
- Click Next
- Click Create meeting
The salesperson will see the Zoom meeting details. Clicking on either field will copy that field to the salesperson's clipboard.
If the salesperson wishes to launch the meeting immediately, they can click Start meeting.
Why would I use Zoom through Sales & Success Center?
Having a single place to keep track of sales activity is important. When salespeople launch meetings through Sales & Success Center, a sales activity is automatically recorded.
Does Sales & Success Center automatically email contacts when launching a meeting?
Sales & Success Center won't email your contact regarding the meeting. This functionality is slated for a later date. If you would like to see this functionality added, please let us know in the Conquer Local Community.
