Your credit card payment may have failed for a number of reasons, such as an expired credit card or insufficient funds in your account. You can usually fix these issues by retrying the payment.
Retry a failed payment
Before retrying a failed payment, make sure that your credit card is not expired and that you have sufficient funds in your bank account. If your credit card is expired, skip ahead to Update payment method.
To retry a failed payment:
- Go to Partner Center > Administration > Billing.
- Click on the By Purchase tab.
- Find the failed payment in the Status column.
- Click the dotted icon at the end of the row to open the menu.
- Click Retry.
The payment Status should change from Failed to Succeeded. You may have to wait a few minutes or refresh the page. If the payment fails again, try updating your payment method.
Update payment method
To update your payment method:
- Go to Partner Center > Administration > Billing.
- Click Edit on the Payment Method card.
- Enter your credit card information and billing address.
- Click Save.
After updating your payment method, try retrying the failed payment. You may have to wait a few minutes or refresh the page.
