What is it?
We will be removing the following sources from Reputation Management on May 8th, 2019: Google+, Best Local Search, Kudzu, Ziplocal, and Georgia Local Search.
Why is it important?
To give your clients an accurate view of their online presence, we continually update our platform and products to include only relevant listing sources. The above sources have either closed, are no longer supported, or are outdated.
How does it work?
If your clients received reviews on any of these sources, they might notice a change in average review rating, average star rating, or number of reviews as these reviews will be removed from Reputation Management.
If your clients were partially or accurately listed on these sources, they may notice a slight decrease to their listing scores.
Updates to weight and listing score impact of important sources:
Facebook and Yelp will be given increased weight in regards to impacting the listing score. This update reflects industry standards based on frequency and volume of online traffic on these sources, and the greater impact they have on your listing’s SEO rank. This means it is more important than ever to be listed accurately on these sources. Your clients may notice an increase in their listing score if they currently have accurate listings on Facebook or Yelp.
All Partners with Reputation Management or Listing Builder may notice the removal of these sources in Partner Center > Administration > Customize > Listing Sources.
