What is it?
Users of Advertising Intelligence, with the Advanced Reporting add-on, now have the ability to select specific conversion metrics for their Facebook advertising campaigns.
When is it available?
Custom conversion selection for Facebook Ads is available on March 28, 2019.
Why is it important?
When connecting a Facebook Ads account, you can now determine which metrics should be considered as conversions for that account. Display only relevant metrics related to the conversions that are significant to the business, allowing clients to efficiently view proof of performance and accurate conversion reporting.
How does it work?
With the Advanced Reporting add-on activated:
- Go to Advertising Intelligence > Settings.
- Below the connected Facebook Ads account, select Conversion Metrics.
- In the drop-down menu, select the conversion metrics you would like to display for this account. Website Conversions will be selected as the default conversion to display.
Select as many conversions as you would like to include in the campaign reporting. The selected conversions will directly affect the conversion number reported in the product and in the Executive Report.
If you do not have Advanced Reporting activated, you can upgrade by selecting Purchase Advanced Reporting from the Overview or Settings page in the product.
