By default, Business App Executive Report emails are sent to users under these conditions:
- Users on accounts with active products that push data to the report (see list), and
- Users on accounts that have authenticated Google My Business or Advertising Intelligence metrics.
Once you have activated the new Executive Report, users who weren’t previously receiving Executive Report emails may begin to receive them on the cadence that you specify during setup (weekly, monthly, or both).
To see whether or not a user on a specific account is receiving Executive Report emails, go to Partner Center > Businesses > Accounts and selecting Impersonate from the ⋮ menu. Select a given user from the menu, and click Impersonate. This will take you to the user’s view of Business App, where you can access their Settings > Notification Settings to see whether “Weekly Executive Report” or “Monthly Executive Report” under the “Business App” dropdown have been selected.
If a certain user does not want to receive these emails, you can disable email notifications by following the above steps and deselecting the “Weekly Executive Report” or “Monthly Executive Report” options.
You can also disable all emails and notifications to a user by going to Partner Center > Users and turning off “Notifications” via the switch on the right. Note that this will stop all communication, including Review Notifications or Daily Digest emails.
