What is it?
Partners who offer social posting services for their clients can now create a Social Calendar Project in Task Manager. This type of project will automatically populate with Social Posting tasks as each new post is drafted in Social Marketing.
Why is it important?
For users drafting and scheduling large amounts of social posts for a client, it’s important to keep track of which posts have been drafted and see them all in one place. Social Calendar projects simplify the process of drafting and scheduling posts in bulk by automatically creating and grouping Social Posting tasks, making it faster and easier to draft large amounts of content for a client from within Social Marketing.
How does it work?
To create a Social Calendar Project,
- In Task Manager, select an account from the Accounts tab
- Under the Projects tab, click Add Project on Social Marketing
- Select “Social Calendar” as the Project Type, input a Project Name, and select an Assignee and Due Date
- Select optional tasks to automatically include in the project
- Click Create.
Your new Social Calendar project will appear under the Social Marketing tab in Task Manager.
Under the Schedule Social Posts task in your new Social Calendar project, click Open Calendar to begin drafting and scheduling in Social Marketing. Each post drafted will generate a completed social post task in Task Manager that is associated with the Social Calendar Project. These tasks can be viewed in Task Manager.
Once posts have been drafted, they can be previewed under the Schedule Social Posts task by clicking Preview Scheduled Posts.

All partners with access to Task Manager and Social Marketing have access to this feature.
