What is it?
Task Manager, Vendasta’s own managed services solution for agencies, is now available as a product in the Marketplace.
Why is it important?
Partners now have a clear view of exactly which accounts are currently in Task Manager by using the Businesses > Accounts tab in Partner Center.
How does it work?
Partners can now filter for Task Manager like any other product under Partner Center > Businesses > Accounts, and can activate or deactivate it for any business. Upon activation, an account for the business is automatically added to Task Manager in a paused state. Tasks will not appear in the account automatically until the account is unpaused by going to Task Manager > Accounts and selecting "Unpause Account" for the desired business.
If an account is manually added to Task Manager, the product will be added automatically become active on the account. Deactivations work the same way—if an account is removed from Task Manager, the product will be deactivated. For all partners currently using Task Manager, the product will already be enabled in the Marketplace, and all added accounts will be active.
Unlike our other products, Task Manager will not appear in the Products tab in Business Center.
Who gets it?
All partners with access to Task Manager will have access to this feature.
