Most salespeople use email programs such as Gmail or Outlook to communicate with their prospects. Now they can conveniently log those emails in Sales & Success Center!
This update allows your reps to view their sent emails from directly within Sales & Success Center without all the hassle of copying and pasting content.
There are two ways your salespeople can log their sent emails:
- Select the contact’s email address within Sales & Success Center—this will launch their preferred email program and automatically prefill firstname.lastname@example.org in the BCC field.
- From an email program, type email@example.com in the BCC field.
Upon sending the email, a sales activity will be added to all relevant accounts—i.e. accounts where:
- The sender’s email address matches that of a salesperson (Note: firstname.lastname@example.org would be considered a match with email@example.com)
- The recipient’s email address exactly matches that of a user or contact.
The sales activity will include the unformatted content of the sent email. Your salespeople may edit that sales activity as needed.
