Most salespeople use email programs such as Gmail or Outlook to communicate with their prospects. Soon they will be able to conveniently log those emails in Sales & Success Center!
This update will allow your reps to view their email communications from directly within Sales & Success Center without all the hassle of copying and pasting content.
Logging sent emails
There are two ways your salespeople can log their sent emails:
- Select the contact’s email address within Sales & Success Center—this will launch their preferred email program and automatically pre-fill firstname.lastname@example.org in the BCC field.
- From an email program, enter email@example.com in the BCC field.
Logging received emails
Your salespeople can also log their received emails by forwarding their prospects’ emails to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Upon sending the email, a sales activity will be added to all relevant accounts—i.e. accounts where:
- The sender’s email address matches that of a salesperson (Note: email@example.com would be considered a match with firstname.lastname@example.org)
- The recipient’s email address exactly matches that of a user or contact.
The sales activity will include the unformatted content of the sent email. Your salespeople may edit that sales activity as needed.
All sales activities for received emails will automatically be marked as Connected.
