As of March 23rd, 2018, Twitter is no longer allowing users to post the same message to multiple accounts simultaneously. This is to aid in their ability to counter spam and prevent automated messages from going out.
This affects our partners and their clients who post bulk messages to multi-locations. For example, an auto dealer with multiple locations nationwide will no longer be able to post identical social posts across all of their dealership accounts on Twitter.
In order to adhere to their policies, Vendasta will no longer be offering the ability to schedule or post to multiple Twitter accounts at once. This includes any previously scheduled posts made through Brand Analytics, Social Marketing, or Concierge.
We will be implementing measures to prevent the ability to select more than one Twitter post going forward.
Note: These changes will not prevent clients from manually posting to multiple locations themselves, but it is discouraged to do so in order to prevent action against their accounts from Twitter.
It is still possible to post the same message to a single Twitter account and other social networks.
