The user permissions screen in Partner Center has just received a major facelift! This minimalistic and intuitive design allows you to effortlessly manage permissions for any given Business Center user. You also have even more granular control over user permissions—particularly, setting permissions by product.
How to manage user permissions
From the Edit Permissions screen in Partner Center (Partner Center > Businesses > Users > Edit Permissions), you can take a number of actions:
- To grant access to an account, click Add Business in the top right corner.
- To set product permissions, click the down arrow beside an account and then indicate which products the user needs access to.
- To remove access to an account, open the menu beside an account and then click Remove Access.
- To grant access to a brand, go to the Brands tab and then click Add Brand in the top right corner.
Why set user permissions by product
Sometimes a client will need you to restrict another user’s access to their products. For example, one of your clients has hired a third-party developer to build their website in Website Pro. The client won’t want to give the developer access to every single product in Business Center. You’ll need to give the developer access to Website Pro only. Now you can do exactly that!
