Vendasta’s WordPress Hosting product gives Partners the ability to control access to the WordPress Hosting Pro product internally and brand it externally as their own. This guide walks through how to manage team access via Partner Center, and how to white-label the product name and logo to align with your brand.
Grant Product Access to Internal Team Members
Only Partner Center admin users with access to all markets can view and manage the WordPress Hosting Pro Admin Dashboard. To ensure your team members can access the product appropriately, follow the steps below.
How to Restrict WordPress Hosting Pro Access to Team Members
-
Log into Partner Center using your admin credentials.
-
Navigate to Marketplace > Products > WordPress Hosting.
-
Select the Product Info tab.
-
Scroll to the Access Control section.
-
Enable the toggle to restrict WordPress Hosting Pro access to team members only.
When this setting is active, only users associated with your Partner Center team will be able to view or manage the WordPress Hosting Pro product.
Best Practices for Managing Access
-
Review team access regularly: Ensure only authorized users retain access to manage websites.
-
Communicate changes: Notify internal users when access is restricted to avoid confusion.
-
Monitor usage: Use the WordPress Hosting Admin Dashboard to view who is managing what and spot any unusual patterns.
Tip: Only Partner Center admin users with full market access can view and use the Admin Dashboard for managing websites.
White-Label the WordPress Hosting Product
As a Vendasta Partner, you have the ability to white-label the WordPress Hosting product (depending on your subscription tier). This allows you to rename the product and add your own branding, helping you present it as your own solution when reselling it to clients.
How to Customize Product Name & Logo
-
Log into Partner Center.
-
Go to Marketplace > Products.
-
Search for and click the WordPress Hosting product.
-
In the Product Info tab, scroll to the White-Label Branding section.
-
Edit the product name and upload a custom icon to match your brand.
These changes will be reflected in your public Store and help you offer WordPress Hosting as a cohesive part of your brand experience.
Note: Product name and icon customization is available to Partners on select subscription tiers. Reach out to your Partner Development Manager for more information.
Summary
Controlling who can access WordPress Hosting Pro and presenting it with your own branding are essential to delivering a professional and secure website hosting experience for your clients. Use the tools in Partner Center to manage access, enforce permissions, and represent the product under your own brand.
