By default, Business App email notifications are turned on for all users. However, you can select which emails your customers receive from Business App, or they can edit their own notification settings in Business App.
You can edit notification settings via the following methods:
The following table identifies which method to use for each email type, depending on how many users you want to affect.

Bulk user update
To bulk update user notifications:
- Go to Partner Center > Businesses > Users.
- Select which users you want to update by selecting the checkboxes on the left-hand side, or skip this step to select all of your users.
- Click Bulk Update X Users in the top right corner.
- Go to the Notifications tab.
- Select which email notifications these users should receive. You can select the following settings for Instant Emails, Daily Digest emails, and Executive Report emails:
- Turn On—Selected users will receive these notifications.
- Turn Off—Selected users will not receive these notifications.
- Don't Update—Settings for these notifications will not change.
- When you're ready to apply the changes, click Apply Changes to X Users.
- Click Yes, update settings.
Customize settings
Executive Report emails
To edit notification settings for Executive Report emails:
- Go to Partner Center > Administration > Customize.
- In the Business App Settings section, under the Executive Report Automated Email heading, you can configure the following email settings:
- Report Type—Select whether to send Executive Report emails:
- Select Business App to send Executive Report emails.
- Select None to turn off Executive Report emails.
- Default Email Frequency—Select the frequency of sending Executive Report emails to your customers. You can select:
- Weekly.
- Monthly.
- Never.
- Report Type—Select whether to send Executive Report emails:
Onboarding campaign emails
To edit notification settings for onboarding campaign emails:
- Go to Partner Center > Administration > Customize.
- In the Business App Settings section, under the New User Campaign heading:
- Select whether you want to send an onboarding campaign to new users.
- When this option is selected, an onboarding campaign is sent to users the first time they log in to Business App.
- If applicable, select the onboarding campaign to send.*
- Select whether you want to send an onboarding campaign to new users.
- In the Sales section, under the Settings heading, select whether you want to send a Welcome Email to new users.
- When this option is selected, a Welcome Email is sent to a prospect 24 hours after they receive a Snapshot Report. This email allows the prospect to access Business App.
*Available to Partners with a Basic, Pro, or Enterprise subscription.
Product Activation emails
To edit notification settings for Product Activation emails:
- Go to Partner Center > Administration > Customize.
- In the Email Settings section, under the Product Activation Email Settings heading, select whether you want to email SMBs.
- When this option is selected, all users on an account are notified when new products and add-ons are activated for that account.
- This setting can be overwritten by toggling the Email all users on this account option on/off during product activation.
Reputation Management emails
To edit notification settings for Reputation Management emails:
- Go to Partner Center > Administration > Customize.
- In the General Product Settings section, under the Reputation Management heading, select whether you want to send review notifications to the activity stream.
- When this option is selected, the links in the Instant Review email and the Review section of the Daily Digest will go to the Activity Stream. When this option is not selected, these links will go to the source of the review.
Edit individual user notifications
To edit notification settings for a specific user:
- Go to Partner Center > Businesses > Users.
- Find the user you want to edit notification preferences for:
- To turn off all notifications:
- Toggle Notifications to Off.
- Toggle Notifications to Off.
- To turn off particular notifications:
- Click the Menu icon
at the end of the row.
- Click Edit Notifications.
- Select an account.
- Select which notifications the user should receive for that account.

Edit notification settings in Business App
The following instructions explain how Business App users can customize their own email settings.
- Go to Business App > Settings > Notification Settings.
- Under the Notification Settings heading, click on a row to expand the options.
- Select which emails you would like to receive.
- Go to Partner Center > Administration > Customize.
- In the General Product Settings section, under the Other heading, deselect the checkbox beside Allow sending of notifications.
- Deselecting this option prevents users from customizing their own email notification settings and prevents future email notifications from being sent.
