How is the bounce rate calculated for email campaigns?

The bounce rate is calculated by the number of emails that were sent out that could not be successfully delivered.
 
 
As each portion of the campaign is sent a week apart, there could be new issues with recipient's email address that caused the email to bounce. This is why the percentage displayed can fluctuate from week to week.
