Why did my campaign emails bounce?

Campaign emails are generally received without issue, but there are a few cases in which these emails will bounce. An email bounce signifies that the email was not successfully delivered. This can happen for a number of reasons:

  • The user's mailbox was full due to the recipient being over quota
  • The recipient's email server is down
  • The email address is invalid
  • The email address does not exist

Depending on the reason for the bounce, the email may be retried for up to 72 hours. If the email cannot be successfully delivered within that time-frame, we will not attempt to deliver any further campaign emails to that address.
