Step 10: Activate a product for your new client

Congratulations, you’ve closed the deal! It’s time to activate the products your new client has purchased.

To activate Reputation Management

When your salespeople create a prospect in Sales & Success Center, they automatically create a Reputation Management demo (which provides up-to-date information for seven days). As such, the activation process for Reputation Management is a little different than it is for any other product—you’ll need to convert the demo to “paid”.

To convert the demo to “paid”:

  1. Go to Partner Center > Businesses > Accounts.
  2. Select the name of the account to go to the Account Details screen.
  3. Within the Products section, open the menu beside Reputation Management and then click Convert to Paid.

If your clients have access to Business Center, they’ll now be able to access Reputation Management from the My Products tab.

To activate other products

To activate other products for your new client:

  1. Go to Partner Center > Businesses > Accounts.
  2. Select the name of the account to go to the Account Details screen.
  3. Click Activate Products.
  4. Indicate which products to activate. If you cannot see the product you want to activate, you’ll need to enable that product first.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Complete the order form (if applicable).
  7. Confirm that you understand you’ll be billed for these products upon activation.
  8. Click Purchase.

If your clients have access to Business Center, they’ll now be able to access these products from the My Products tab.

Important: Your clients may not be able to access their products yet! Continue to the next step to ensure they have access.

Add the account to Concierge

Once you’ve activated your client’s product(s), you can add the account to your fulfillment dashboard (Professional, Enterprise, Premium, and Elite subscriptions only). To add the account to Concierge:

  1. Go to Partner Center > Concierge.
  2. Click Open Concierge.
  3. Go to the Accounts tab.
  4. Click Add Accounts.
  5. Indicate which account to add.
